In this beginner-friendly soft pastel workshop, you’ll choose your favourite sunset reference from a small selection, then create your own version step by step.
No experience is needed. This workshop is designed for complete beginners, including people who have never used soft pastels before.
This is not a follow-along class where everyone paints the same picture. You’ll work from a printed step-by-step guide, and the artist will check your work throughout the session, offering individual guidance and hands-on corrections when needed.

About the artist
Kairos Rhys is a Dublin-based artist specialising in soft pastel paintings of skies, sunsets, and atmospheric light. His workshops are calm, supportive, and focused on helping each student create a finished piece with clear guidance and individual help throughout.
