About the Event
Welcome to a soft landing and a high-vibe afternoon hang built as a safe space for new and old creatives, femme baddies, awesome allies, and exhausted aunties.
Whether you want to work on a cozy craft project, trade treasures at the trinket table, grab a matcha, or just lounge while listening to the vinyl dj, this space is for you. There is no pressure, no performance, and no strict expectations: just pure creative freedom, warm energy, and good company.
What to Expect
- Low-Pressure Craft & Art Space: Bring whatever personal project you are working on to sketch, stitch, collage, or doodle. We will have some art and collage supplies, and a still life area will be curated by @nerdherderarts (Katie)
- Live Vinyl DJ: Analog sounds including neosoul, funk, downtempo, chill hip hop, and more... DJ Skoosha is coming out of retirement after a decade (please don't judge my mixing skills 🫣)
- Cafe & Snack Pop-Ups: Sip on delicious beverages and treats for purchase.
- Local Vendor Market: Browse unique jewellery, art, and other handmade goods from awesome local people.
- Trinket Swap & Tickle Trunk: Leave a trinket, take a trinket, and adorn yourself for the event.
- Local Goodz Raffle: Enter to win awesome local prize bundles like handmade caramels, professional hair products, jewellery, art, and more.
- PLUS MORE SURPRISES!
- Cash preferred onsite, but cards are accepted
