Meeting point: Please meet by the container in Hednesford park near the steps up to TESCO. Make sure arrive in plenty of time. The ride will begin and finish in Hednesford Park.
This is an eight week course.
We know that people experience barriers when trying to ride more, so Sofa to Saddle is all about turning intention into action. From distance goals and suggested routes, through to motivation, tips and advice: we’ll give you the support you need to get in the saddle.

You’ll build strength with simple off-bike activities, and receive check-ins along the way to stay on track and see your progress build, week by week.
designed for 16+ people who can already ride a standard bike and would like to progress to off‑road riding in Cannock Chase Forest, nice and steadily.

You’re welcome to bring your own bike, or we can supply a suitable off‑road bike.
🪖 Helmets are also provided.
This session is all about taking your first steps into off‑road cycling — no pressure, no rushing, just learning and enjoying the ride.
