About this Event
Venue: SODA Cinema, DA G.12
In this session, Feimatta Conteh will share the arc of a career built around what she describes as culture-based climate action, exploring how sustainability can be embedded into cultural production itself, policy making, and what that has looked like in practice across more than a decade of institutional and creative work.
Feimatta works at the intersection of culture and climate action, a field she has helped shape since 2010, when she joined Arcola Theatre as Sustainability Manager, supporting its mission to become the world's first carbon neutral theatre.
Since then, her practice has moved across the cultural sector, bringing sustainability thinking into the heart of creative and institutional work rather than treating it as a separate concern.
SODA Talks are open to both SODA students and the general public - all are welcome.
