About this Event
As part of our week-long takeover of SpACE, the Edinburgh Architectural Association is launching Architects Talking, a new monthly informal gathering for Edinburgh's architects and friends from other professions and trades.
We want to create space for more relaxed conversations, informal exchanges of ideas and, who knows, perhaps future collaborations.
Each session will begin with a proposed topic, but we fully expect the conversation to wander in all sorts of unexpected directions.
For our first event, we're asking: What could a Centre for Architecture bring to Edinburgh?
What role could it play in the city? What might it look like? And what would it take to make it happen?
With A&DS currently providing a temporary home for architectural exhibitions, events and discussion, this feels like a particularly timely conversation about the future of architectural culture in Edinburgh.
Join us for a drink and a relaxed discussion. We're not quite sure where the conversation will lead, but that's very much the point!
