Aged 40+ and wondering if there’s somewhere you could go without masking or explaining yourself? You might have just found it.

Following your requests, we’re continuing this social group 40+

Your participation matters, as it will help us decide whether we can continue running the group.

There are no expectations to socialise.
Do your own thing: sit quietly, read, chat if you wish, stim freely, or simply have a coffee.
Stay for a bit or for the whole time.
What time? 6:30–8:30 PM
Where? Third Space Café, Smithfield, Dublin

This is not therapy nor training.

It is:

• Low-pressure and optional in nature
• Designed to reduce masking and social demand
• Focused on calm, safety, and personal choice

It is for:

• Autistic adults aged 40+ (flexibility around age)
• People who are late-diagnosed
• People who are self-diagnosed
• People who do not feel comfortable in high-energy social settings

There is no expectation to:

• Talk
• Introduce oneself
• Participate in group activities
• Explain personal circumstances

Participants should not experience:

• Judgement
• Social pressure or expectations

Maybe you:

• Were missed by diagnostic systems earlier in life
• Have spent decades masking
• Feel out of place in younger autistic spaces
• Are seeking calm, respectful connection rather than activity-led groups
