The Milwaukee band Social Cig makes music that feels just like the band name would suggest -- like the cool relief of the back door opening at a house show as you climb the stairs from the basement and walk outside to mingle with people you barely know. A setting in which a non-smoker would accept a cigarette if one was offered to them. Sentimental tunes that invite you to embrace those moments of togetherness and stillness, because it really doesn't get much better than that.Social Cig is at Duffy's on November 6 with Lincoln's Car Bar.
