This year brings a major milestone—the BIG SIX-OH! Since doing anything for my birthday is completely out of character for me, I decided to celebrate in a way that is equally out of character: I will be dancing as a go-go daddy at MEAT RACK!Meat Rack is a popular bi-weekly dance and social event hosted at Eagle LA, an iconic LGBTQ+ leather bar in Silver Lake. The night features guest DJs spinning heavy dance beats for the leather, bear, muscle, and kink communities. Please note there is an $8 cover charge, and Eagle LA is a cash-only bar.
All of my tips from the night will be donated directly to the Janice P. Ulrich Memorial Scholarship, which supports high school seniors pursuing a career in nursing in honor of my late mother. If you'd like to donate directly via Venmo, feel free to send me a private message for details.
