SmutSlam Glasgow: "HUMBLE BRAG" (Nov 23) After a packed full run at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, Glasgow's only community dirty storytelling open mic returns in its full glory on Monday, 23 Nov, at the Corset Club!
Our theme this time - HUMBLE BRAG. We wanna know what you're good at, and how you found out that you were. Skills, stamina, niche knowledge, or sheer bravado... you don't have to big-up your "body count," but anything else? You bet we're curious!
Doors open 18:30
Slamming starts at 19:30
Tickets: £8 early bird, £10 adv, £12 Day-of-Show or at the door (+ fee)
Advance tickets available here:
https://www.designmynight.com/glasgow/whats-on/burlesque-cabaret/cabaret-royale
HOW IT WORKS:
Audience members sign up to tell 5-minute, real-life, first-person sex stories. A panel of guest judges awards sexy prizes from our local sponsors to the top 3 tellers at the end of the night. In between stories, the host reads anonymous questions and confessions submitted by the audience to the F*ckbucket.
RULES: - no notes - no costumes or props - only five minutes AND - the story must be real and have happened to you.
IMPORTANT: Stories must be about consensual behaviours, activities or events, and should adhere as closely as possible to our Code of Conduct, which you can read about at smutslam.com
Note: Online sale at the general price STOPS at midnight the night before. After this, you may buy your tickets online or at the door at the Day-Of ticket price.
Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sex worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences.
We DO NOT welcome stories involving racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other kind of discrimination, objectification, or fetishization of a person.
NOT A SMUT SLAMMER?
No worries! The audience is in for a good time at SMUT SLAM! Sit back and enjoy. All we ask is: - No interrupting. - No heckling. - No necking in the front row!
SMUT SLAM is created by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, event producer, and former phone sex operator.
The F*ckbucket prize is sponsored worldwide by Überlube.
Storytelling prizes in Scotland are sponsored by Glasgow's Luke & Jack.
