A relaxed painting & sketchbook workshop at Flow
Slow down, explore your creativity, and make space for a little experimentation in this relaxed sketchbook workshop.
Each session starts with a creative prompt inspired by a theme, from nature and everyday objects to colours and seasonal changes. You'll explore different painting techniques and ideas, then use them as a starting point for your own sketchbook page.
There’s no step-by-step tutorial to follow or perfect result to achieve. Instead, you’ll have the freedom to experiment with colours, shapes and techniques, discover what you enjoy, and develop your own creative style.
Over time, you’ll build a personal collection of sketchbook pages, capturing the things that catch your eye and inspire you along the way.
All materials are provided, including a sketchbook to take home. No previous painting experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and enjoy a creative moment for yourself.
Your teacher: Sandra is a Netherlands-based artist specialising in realism, working with watercolour, gouache, acrylic and oil. She is drawn to the process of studying a subject closely, noticing the smallest details, and translating them into paint, one brushstroke at a time.
Through landscapes, botanical studies, food illustrations and portraits, she explores the beauty of everyday details. Her work invites us to slow down, look closer and find beauty in the things we often overlook.

ou're welcome to come in from 12:20 to settle in with a cup of tea. We start at 12:30 and will take our time until 15:00 - 15:30 depending on how far along you are with your piece

Meet the Artist: Sandra 🎨
Sandra is a Netherlands-based artist working in watercolour, gouache, acrylic, and oil, with a focus on realism. Inspired by the beauty of everyday life, she loves capturing the details we often overlook. Through her art, Sandra invites us to slow down, look a little closer, and discover the creativity in the world around us.
During this workshop, she'll guide you in exploring painting techniques and finding inspiration in the little things, encouraging you to experiment and develop your own artistic style.
