Formed in early 2026, SixteenQ is the brainchild of seasoned songwriters/musicians Katie Holland and Simon Barnabas. Blending Simon’s polyphonic, percussive guitar stylings and Katie’s soaring vocals and provocative lyrics has produced a plethora of absolute bangers, showcased in their debut EP “Accidental Apocalypse”.
Joined by some of Perth’s finest session musicians for that plugged in sound, and supported by emerging talent Securus this live EP launch is a must see for anyone who loves original music with beats, heart, and an eccentric apocalyptic backstory.
