Simply Patsy — A Tribute to Patsy ClineMary Pfeifer returns to Engle Lane Theatre one final time with her phenomenal tribute show, Simply Patsy. Two performances only, Sunday, November 8 at 2 pm & 6 pm.
Mary's journey with Patsy's music began right here at Engle Lane in 2009, when she played the role of Patsy Cline in Always, Patsy Cline. For 17 years since, she has performed her tribute throughout Illinois and neighboring states, and she is regularly invited to sing Patsy's songs onstage in Nashville.
Mary is not an impersonator, she works to embrace the essence of Patsy's voice and timing while paying tribute to the woman herself. Between her greatest hits, she shares stories of Patsy's youth, her courage, her tenacity, and her generosity to fellow musicians, and introduces audiences to some of her lesser-known recordings.
It's a heartfelt celebration of a legendary voice, and your last chance to see Mary bring it to the Engle Lane stage.
