Create your own sterling silver piece in a hands-on silversmithing workshop led by LK, a Goldsmith by trade, Fashion Designer and Artist at Shades & Co Studios.In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn the essential techniques used to transform silver into a piece that is uniquely yours. Set within our creative studio, surrounded by art and inspiration, this experience is designed for curious beginners and makers alike. You’ll be guided through the process from concept to finished piece:
- Saw and shape — cut, form and refine
- Hammer texture --- patterns, letters, flowers
- Solder — learn to join with precision
- Finish — file, polish and shine
- Make it yours — take home your creation
You’ll work with professional jewellery-making tools and receive step-by-step guidance throughout the session to make 2 silver rings! Come solo, bring a friend, or gift the experience to someone creative. Places are limited to keep the workshop personal and hands-on.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- No previous silversmithing experience is required
- Silver is included for 2 rings; additional material upgrades are available on the day for $35 per extra ring

- Reading glasses if required
- Enclosed shoes preferred
- Hair should be worn back
