Silent Book Club Oakland

Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with chapters in 54 countries -- welcome to the Oakland chapter of Silent Book Club! We are super excited to host you all -- whether you've been reading for decades or just for a month, bring a book and join us at the reading table. Come with a friend or alone -- you are welcome as you are!

For our weekday meet-ups: Pack a book, a book light, and extra layers, and head over to Temescal Brewing for our meet-ups every 2nd Tuesday of the month. We meet at the reserved back tables in the outdoor patio. (Click here for our weekend meet-ups.)

Temescal Brewing serves craft beer with bar snacks and they usually have a food truck parked adjacent to their outdoor patio. Their outdoor patio is ADA accessible.
