Join us for the opening of a solo exhibition of abstract paintings by Sigrid Louise.
Sigrid Louise (Haarlem) is an abstract artist whose work reflects a deep sensitivity to the world around her. Before turning to painting, she spent many years in the military, with NGOs and in human rights organisations, which taught her what truly matters: an eye for the small, the beautiful, and for one another.
In a world built on structure, rules and efficiency, she now chooses to work intuitively and without a fixed plan, letting go of control. Inspired by the colours of the sky, the land and the earth, she creates vibrant works with bold contrasts and rich textures.
