Long before it was a gallery, the house at 1040 Moss Street was a home where evenings were given over to music. The AGGV picks that thread back up with the launch of a new evening concert series, Sights and Sounds. Join us for the debut edition featuring the music of TK The Artist and Raynor Bell.
Doors open early, so come and spend time with the exhibitions before the music starts. The bar, sponsored by Hoyne Brewing and Vessel Liquor, is open all evening. Seating is limited and unreserved.
Come for the sights, stay for the sounds.

PERFORMERS
TK the Artist is a Nigerian-born Singer/songwriter residing on the West Coast of Canada. As a drummer/singer, music has been at the core of his life from a young age. With influences stemming from Afrobeats, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Gospel, and Neo-Soul, this artist has created unique blends of sounds and rhythms that give you the feeling of summer nights with your favorite people in the world.
His live performances have been described as soulful, groovy, emotional, and powerful. This artist has rocked stages like Philips Backyard Festival (with Cautious Clay and Earl Sweatshirt) and played the main stage at festivals like Khatsalano Street Festival and the Tofino Jazz Festival.
Raynor Bell is a Victoria based musician blending the folk, blues and country music genres. Weaving together introspective and insightful lyrics accompanied by harmonious chord progressions, Raynor’s songs tell a story worth listening to. With three new songs recorded, you can soon find him on streaming platforms.

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is located on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, today known as the Xʷsepsəm and Songhees Nations. We extend our appreciation for the opportunity to live and learn on this territory

The AGGV is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible destination for all to enjoy. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible with a ramp on the left side of the entrance with no handrail. There is one set of power doors located at the left side of the entrance at the top of the ramp.
