Our free Sight Matters Medway Exhibition on Thursday 24th September, which is ideal for any person who has a sight impairment or their family/carer, will showcase services, new technologies and equipment from organisations, charities and local authority teams. KAB staff will also be on hand to provide support, advice and guidance. New this year, we will have three talks on Glaucoma, Charles Bonnet Syndrome and a Meta Glasses demonstration.This popular event is the perfect opportunity for people with sight impairments across Medway to meet face-to-face with KAB and other organisations to find out more about how they can support their daily needs. You can join us anytime between 10am and 2.30pm.
There's no need to book, just turn up!
Talks:
* 10.30am - 11.30am - Charles Bonnet Syndrome (presentation and Q&A session), by KAB's Scott Jones (ECLO)
* 12pm - 1pm - Glaucoma (facts, treatment and management of the condition and Q&A session), by Conchita Landa-Font from Glaucoma UK
* 1.30pm - 2.30pm - Meta Glasses (talk and demonstration), by Sharon Maunder and Steve Mitchell from KAB.
