SIBLINGS UNLEASHED - From Africa to AotearoaA collaborative exhibition of original paintings and photography by Tauranga siblings Colleen Shervell and Geoff Mason.
For the first time, Colleen and Geoff are joining creative forces to exhibit their work together - two siblings with shared roots, different creative paths, and a lifetime of stories and experiences between them.
Colleen has been an artist and graphic designer since her early teens, beginning her studies at East London Polytechnic in South Africa before continuing at Wellington Polytechnic in New Zealand. Following a long career in commercial graphic art, she returned to her love of painting, creating private works, commissions and continually exploring new ideas through her art.
Geoff is an established commercial and advertising photographer whose career has included editorial, publishing and photographic assignments throughout New Zealand and around the world. His more recent adventures include extensive coverage of UNESCO World Heritage Sites for the Our Place – The World’s Heritage Project. He continues to share his photography through large-format display prints for private collections and interiors.
SIBLINGS UNLEASHED - From Africa to Aotearoa brings their work together for the very first time, featuring Colleen’s original paintings alongside a diverse collection of Geoff’s photography.
