About this Event
Learn to play with color-shifting multichromes, pair shades with confidence, and create your own wearable look.
Join us at Sunset Commons for a beginner-friendly, hands-on makeup workshop where you'll explore the world of multichrome and metallic eyeshadows. From shimmering greens that shift to purple to pinks that catch the light just right, you'll learn how to work with these unique textures, pair colors with confidence, and create looks that feel like you.
No advanced makeup skills required! Whether you're new to colorful eyeshadow or looking to expand your makeup repertoire, this relaxed and informative class is all about experimenting, asking questions, and learning at your own pace.
Your instructor will begin with an introduction to color theory and practical eyeshadow application techniques, including how to pair shades, layer textures, and get the most out of multichrome pigments. Then, you'll put what you've learned into practice by creating a look on your own face, with personalized tips and guidance from your instructor along the way.
Expect a welcoming, low-pressure environment where questions are encouraged and there's no such thing as a silly question. You'll leave with new techniques, more confidence playing with color, and a makeup kit to continue experimenting at home.

About Sunset Commons
Carmen and Steven started Sunset Commons to provide a space to connect and build community through arts and craft activities led by talented local artists. Inspired by a love for creativity and a desire to foster connection in the Sunset District, we envisioned a “third space” where neighbors can gather, unwind, and form meaningful relationships. Our mission is to empower self-expression, boost confidence, and offer an inclusive haven for everyone, from introverts seeking a calm environment to those enjoying health-focused traditional teas. Sunset Commons is not just a business - it’s our way of enriching the community we love and to the city we both grew up in.
*Our events are often photographed and filmed so we can share the fun with our community. If you don’t want to be on camera, no worries—let us know before the event.
