Our favorite birds at this site are Sandhill Cranes, Short Eared Owls, Western Meadowlarks and Cackling Geese. We have limited space, so sign up when registration opens at 5pm today!
Meeting Location
Shillapoo South Wildlife Area Unit. We will meet at the north trailhead (open the link for google map locale). It is located adjacent to Vancouver Lake, northwest of Vancouver, in Clark County. The unit can be accessed from Lower River Road and Highway 501 (this road turns into NW Erwin O Rieger Memorial Highway).
There is street parking available on the side of the road. Please use this location for meetup!
