SheMeet: Pottery Wheel Taster & Drinks
New city, changed job, friends scattered? This one’s for you.
SheMeet is a space for women in their 30s to meet like-minded women. Our next event: A pottery wheel taster in Camden.
What to expect
7:10 PM: Arrive to a welcome drink and settle in. Choose from red or white wine or a range of soft drinks. Top-ups will be available until we run out.
7:30 PM: Short intro from your tutor and a first go on the wheel.
Until 8:30 PM: Chat, laugh and compare wonky bowls and pots.
After the session: We've booked a table from 8:30pm until roughly 10:30pm at the Camden Road Arms (102-104 Camden Rd, NW1 9EA), a few minutes’ walk from the studio, for an optional drink and chat. Drinks at the pub/ food purchased at the pub aren’t included in your ticket. Everyone buys their own, and there’s no pressure to stay!
What’s included in your ticket
- A hands-on pottery wheel session with an expert tutor, 7:30 to 8:30pm
- A welcome drink (red or white wine or soft drinks), with top-ups available until we run out
- A small, friendly group of women in their 30s, with introductions made for you. Spots are limited to 15 people so the evening stays friendly and small.
- No experience needed. Your host is a first-timer too. Ensure to wear comfortable clothing/ something you don't mind getting a little dirty!
Not included: Glazing and firing of your pottery (optional, £5 on the day) and drinks at the pub afterwards. Note: For items glazed and fired, you will need to return to pick up your pottery item approximately 4 weeks post event.
