An intimate matinee of ambient, melodic jazz featuring Shell Company and Memotone, produced by the next generation of emerging live event producers from Serious’ Milestones programme. This matinee show brings together two of the UK’s most distinctive voices in ambient music. Shell Company’s textured, atmospheric compositions sit alongside Memotone’s genre-blurring soundscapes, creating a concert that moves slowly and deliberately, built for close listening and reflection.
Expect an intimate daytime setting that strips away the noise of a typical night out, offering space to absorb two artists working at the more contemplative edge of jazz.
The event is produced entirely by participants in the Milestones programme, a professional development scheme for young people building careers across the live music industry. Over five months, the cohort has worked directly with Serious, producers of the EFG London Jazz Festival, to deliver this one-off show.
