About this Event
The runs will lead up to the Volcanic 25K and 50K Fundraising Trail Run at the end of the summer in August 2026. Registration for the Volcanic trail run is not required to particpate in this running series. All-paces are welcome!

Timeline:
9:00am - check-in and form pace groups
9:15am - run!
@your finish time - light refreshments and hang out with your fellow runners
Who:
We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people to participate in this event. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian through the entire event. Please leave your pets at home for this event.
What To Wear/Bring:
Wear clothing and shoes you will be comfortable running in based on the weather. Bring any water or snacks you’d like to have with you.
Parking and Transportation:
There is limited parking in a parking lot at the park, and ample street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The park is accessible via Trimet bus route 15.
What To Expect:
We’ll meet at Lower Macleay Park for either a 5 or 10-mile run in Forest Park, with time to hang out afterwards. The route is a 5 mile loop so participants can choose to do one or two loops for the two distance options. All paces are welcome!

Restrooms are available at the trailhead.
We will have some refreshments for participants post-run, as well as a raffle / giveaways / food / fundraising for Volcanic!
Accessibility & Facility Information: The trail is partially paved, but mostly unpaved. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead. The bathrooms are non-gendered.

Since this is a free event to register for, you can cancel at any time in your Eventbrite account. Please cancel your registration at least 3 days ahead of the event so we have adequate time to fill your spot with folks on the waitlist.
