About this Event
Join SheJumps for a Summer Trail Running Series where we will get out on the trails of Forest Park together. The runs will lead up to the Volcanic 25K and 50K Fundraising Trail Run at the end of the summer in August 2026. Registration for the Volcanic trail run is not required to particpate in this running series. All-paces are welcome!

Cost: $0. Optional donation to SheJumps ($10 suggestion)
Timeline:
9:00am - check-in and form pace groups
9:15-10:15/10:45am - run!
10:45-11:00am - light refreshments and hang out with your fellow runners
Who:
We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people to participate in this event. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian through the entire event. Please leave your pets at home for this event.
What To Wear/Bring:
Wear clothing and shoes you will be comfortable running in based on the weather. Bring any water or snacks you’d like to have with you.
Parking and Transportation:
There is parking at the trailhead and on surrounding neighborhood streets. Weekends can be busy, so carpooling is encouraged! The Trimet bus route 15 is the closest public transportation option, with a bus stop about a mile from the trailhead.
What To Expect:
We’ll meet at Forest Park's Leif Erikson Trailhead at the top of Thurman Road for a 4-6 miles trail run, with time to hang out afterwards. There will be options for either 4 or 6 miles. The trails are unpaved. All paces are welcome. We will have some refreshments for participants post-run.

Accessibility & Facility Information: The trail is unpaved and is not an ADA trail. There are bathrooms are available at the park.

Since this is a free event to register for, you can cancel at any time in your Eventbrite account. Please cancel your registration at least 3 days ahead of the event so we have adequate time to fill your spot with folks on the waitlist.
