Sharing Bread 2026 is a Thanksgiving-weekend celebration bringing together Toronto's Italian-Canadian community and friends around bread, music, and solidarity — organized by Associazione Amarcord Emilianoromagnoli dell'Ontario and Ossington Pentecostal Church, with the support of the Regione Emilia-Romagna (Consulta regionale per gli Emilianoromagnoli nel Mondo).
This page lets you RSVP for the two ticketed events of the weekend — select the date(s) you'd like to attend:
Monday, September 21 — Official Launch: "yända'tara'" with Catherine Tammaro, at Bottega della Piadina, 6:00 PM. Free, capacity 50.
Friday, October 9 — "Music is my Bread" Concert: Fernando Perri & Spare Parts, at Society Clubhouse, 5:00 PM. Free, capacity 150.
The full weekend continues through Sunday, October 11 with the main Sharing Bread event day at Ossington Pentecostal Church — panel discussions, breadmaking classes, and free-will donation bread distribution — plus an outdoor gazebo distribution on Sunday morning.
