“Dinner and a Song” (https://www.dinnerandasong.com/) is excited to welcome award-winning and multi-instrumentalist Shari Ulrich (https://www.shariulrich.com/) to Dinner and a Song for the first time, on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Olde Stone Cottage Pub.As well as being a musician and songwriter, Shari has worked as a television host, actress, film composer, and educator. She plays multiple instruments - violin, mandolin, guitar, piano, and dulcimer. Shari is a four-time Juno nominee, winning "Most Promising Female Vocalist of the Year" in 1982 and "Most Promising Group of the Year" as a member of Valdy’s Hometown Band in 1978.
Despite her many group projects, Shari’s main focus since the late 1970s has been on her solo career, with an emphasis on her songwriting. She has released nine solo records. She is an accomplished and dynamic performer, making any size audience feel they are in her living room – drawn in by her insightful lyrics, and her engaging warmth and humour.
Dinner on October 30 will begin at 5:30 in the pub, with the show starting at 7:30 upstairs in the loft. Concert seating is on a first come, first served basis. After checking in with Dinner and a Song volunteers at the entrance, patrons can reserve their concert seats before sitting down to dinner.
TICKETS: $65 for a two-course dinner and show (the $40 dinner portion of this payment includes the tax and tip on the food); available only at www.dinnerandasong.com. A limited number of show-only tickets are available at $30 each.
