Sew Your Own Hoodie: A Two-Day Sewing Class
Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? Join us for a hands-on, two-day class where you’ll learn how to sew your very own hoodie!
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for students who have some sewing experience and want to explore garment construction. You’ll learn the basics of putting together a hoodie while gaining confidence in your sewing abilities and creating something you can wear with pride.
**Prerequisites:** All students must have prior experience using a sewing machine or have completed Sewing 101. This class is beginner-friendly, but it is not intended for individuals with zero sewing machine experience.
Class Details
Dates: October 5th and October 6th
Time: 6:30 PM–8:30 PM each day
Duration: Two days, four hours total
Location: Makerspace Charlotte

About your instructor
Meet Your Instructor
Ms.Regina is a fashion design graduate, sewing instructor, and founder of Sew Free Co. She has been teaching sewing since 2019 and enjoys helping people develop their skills and creativity through sewing. With a passion for garment construction, Regina loves showing students how to turn fabric into something they can wear and feel proud of. Join her for this hands-on hoodie-making class and learn new skills while creating a hoodie of your own! MUST HAVE BEGINNER EXPERIENCE.
Refund Policy
- Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.
- 14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
- 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
- Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy
MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled by MakerSpace, fees are 100% refundable.
