Never touched a sewing machine before? No problem at all! This workshop is designed specifically for complete beginners. We will guide you step-by-step through every technique in a warm, welcoming, and relaxed studio environment.
What you will learn:
- From Sketch to Pattern: How to design and draw a custom paper pattern for your pillow in your desired shape.
- Sewing Machine Basics: Learn how to set up, thread, and operate a sewing machine.
- Cutting & Assembly: How to lay out your pattern onto fabric, cut your pieces accurately, and pin them for sewing.
- Fabric & Materials Guide: Discover which fabrics, threads, and supplies work best.
- Stuffing & Professional Finishing: How to stuff your pillow evenly for a soft, plush look, and close the seam neatly.
- Decorative Touches (Optional): Learn simple decorative hand or machine stitching details to add extra personality to your creation.

- Plush stuffing and essential materials—all included in the workshop fee!
Have a special fabric or vintage textile at home that you would like to use? Feel free to bring it along! Otherwise, you are welcome to choose from our studio’s curated fabric stash to pick your favorite colors and textures.
