We are trying a new location this month! It is a special place where a fire happened ten years ago. It has epic views of the mountains and lots of wild flowers and baby trees! PLEASE CARPOOL or walk, as there are limited parking spot there.
From Nederland, head North on 119 and go East on Ridge Road - go past the neighborhood of Bonanza Estates and Sky View to where it opens up to a forest on the left side of the road where there was a fire 10 years ago. Go past the first Forest service road on the left and continue to the second service road on the LEFT- We will have a baloon or two tied onto a car near the road side to mark the road as the road is unmarked.
For this event we will be nature-dancing off of Ridge Road outside of Nederland. Again, PLEASE CARPOOL! Text Laura Rose to be added to the Whatsapp group so you can coordinate with other dancers. Thank you!
And please bring a cash donation of $10-25 💖
Notice - Please arrive able to safely hike, dance, and fully participate. This is not an event for recreational intoxication. If you choose to use cannabis or another legal substance, please do so in moderation so that you remain present, aware, and able to care for yourself and those around you. Anyone who appears too impaired to participate safely may be asked to leave.
What to bring:
- Bring a friend! I have 30 headphones - if we run out, someone can always rock out to their own playlist (bring your earbuds just in case).
- Wear layers that can be tied around your waist and comfortable hiking boots/shoes.
- Colorful clothes and playful costume accessories are always welcome but not necessary.
- Small backpack for carrying water (you might get thirsty) Water straws/camelbacks or fanny packs with water are great for this!
- A cash donation (suggested $10-20) or venmo @laurarose-boyle
