From sweeping reforms to the Medicaid program to the anticipated rise in charity care amid cuts to social services and an uncertain financial future, Cook County Health CEO Dr. Erik Mikaitis is navigating a packed agenda for the coming months.
Mikaitis will headline a September 29 Health News Illinois newsmaker event in Chicago, where he will share updates on CCH's initiatives and what’s ahead for the health system.
PARKING: Parking is available at 333 S Clinton Street, which is connected to the building. Metered street parking is available but limited, and SpotHero reservations are also an option in the surrounding area.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Connected to Union Station via an enclosed pedway at BMO - 320 South Canal - has direct access to the Metra train concourse and Amtrak trains. The LoopLink CTA bus lines are steps away from the Union Station Transit Center, which is directly north of the building.
Upon arrival at the building, you’ll find an elevator bank to the far left of the security desk that goes directly to the 2nd floor. Once you exit on the 2nd floor, the check-in area and event space will be visible.
