About this Event
✨✨ Sensory Reset: An Autumn Equinox Journey Through the Senses ✨✨
Sensory Reset is an invitation to experience the changing season a little differently.
As we approach the autumn equinox, we’ll slow down and explore sight, sound, scent, touch and taste, noticing what becomes available when we give our attention to one sense at a time.
If the weather is kind to us, we’ll take our practice outdoors into the green space above the centre, allowing the changing light, moving leaves, grass beneath us, breeze against our skin and sounds of life around us to become part of the experience. If the weather has other ideas, we’ll gather in the studio and create our sensory journey there instead.
Through sensory awareness, gentle breathwork, Reiki and mindful cacao, we’ll explore our relationship with the world around us and the quieter sensations within.
As summer begins to give way to autumn, there’s a natural invitation to notice change, balance and transition.
Why Sensory Reset
So much of everyday life asks for our attention that we can move through our surroundings without really experiencing them.
Sensory Reset brings us back to something beautifully simple: noticing.
Through texture, scent, sound, taste, breath and sensation, we’ll explore what happens when we slow down enough to pay attention to what we’re experiencing, both around us and within.
Sometimes, coming back to ourselves can begin simply by coming back to our senses.
What’s the Experience Like?
Across 90 minutes, we’ll journey through sight, sound, scent, touch and taste, sometimes turning our attention outwards and sometimes bringing it gently within.
Expect a thoughtful blend of sensory exploration, breathwork, Reiki, mindful cacao and moments of quiet.
Some practices will invite curiosity and active exploration, while others offer the chance to simply receive and rest. As the experience unfolds, we’ll gradually bring the senses together again, before closing with a little time to connect over homemade cacao and date bites and seasonal fruit.

What to Bring
✔ A warm layer suitable for being outdoors if the weather permits
✔ Comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move easily
✔ An eye mask if you'd prefer to use your own
🌿 Indoors or Outdoors
Part of the beauty of Sensory Reset is responding to the season we find ourselves in.
If conditions are comfortable, we’ll make the most of the park and allow nature to become part of our exploration. Sounds, breeze, temperature, light and movement around us can all become part of what we notice.
If it’s wet, particularly cold or otherwise unsuitable for an outdoor practice, we’ll move into the studio instead and explore the senses in a warm, comfortable indoor setting.
We’ll make that decision based on the conditions on the day, so please come prepared for either.
🌙 Please Note
Eye masks, breath practices and Reiki are all optional. You’re welcome to keep your eyes open, simply observe a practice or opt out of any element that doesn’t feel right for you.
Consent for receiving Reiki will always be established before the practice begins.
Scent & Taste Awareness
Natural scents such as fresh herbs, botanicals or citrus may be used as part of our exploration of smell. Nothing will be applied to your skin, and you’re always welcome to experience this part without directly smelling any of the materials offered.
A small serving of cacao will form part of our exploration of taste, followed by light refreshments at the end of the session.
If you have any allergies, intolerances, scent sensitivities or dietary requirements that we should be aware of, please let us know when booking so we can advise you about the ingredients being used and make reasonable adjustments where possible.
Sensory Reset is an invitation to meet the changing season through your senses, noticing more of what surrounds you, more of what’s happening within you, and perhaps discovering just how much is already there when we give ourselves time to notice.
