About this Event
How does physical place inform the study of the eighteenth century? Can we access the past in different ways through either modern or historical senses? And how can the senses complement the use of traditional historical sources? This in person workshop explores how histories of eighteenth-century place and space can be reconstructed through using our senses as historians. From the dining table of George III to the streets of Bath, Edinburgh, and Liverpool, a sense of place is brought into sharp focus.
