🪑 Inclusivity & Therapeutics Including Chair Yoga Senior Yoga Teacher Training at Jenna Blair Yoga Wellbeing Centre 🪑Every body deserves to feel welcome in a yoga space.
This transformative training is designed to help yoga teachers deepen their understanding of inclusive, accessible, and therapeutic teaching; supporting a wider range of students with confidence, compassion, and creativity.
Rooted in body-wise movement, intelligent adaptation, and practical anatomy, this training explores how to safely support students navigating injuries, chronic pain, stress, fatigue, anxiety, mobility challenges, and different life stages, without losing the depth, soul, or transformational power of yoga.
Including Chair Yoga teaching, this module will help you move beyond “one-size-fits-all” sequencing and instead learn how to truly meet people where they are.
You’ll explore:
✨ Chair yoga for balance, stability, recovery, aging populations, and accessible movement
✨ Adapting yoga for common physical challenges including back pain, hypermobility, joint sensitivity, and postural differences
✨ Stress, anxiety, burnout, and supporting nervous system regulation through yoga
✨ Creating emotionally safe, empowering, and trauma-aware classes
✨ Inclusive cueing and communication for different learning styles and needs
✨ Using props, bolsters, blankets, straps, chairs, and walls creatively and effectively
✨ Designing multi-level classes and workshops where everyone feels seen and supported
✨ Therapeutic-inspired sequencing for group classes and 1:1 sessions
✨ Practice teaching, peer feedback, and creative sequencing challenges
While this is not a clinical yoga therapy qualification, it is a deeply practical and empowering training that will expand your teaching toolkit, strengthen your confidence, and help you create classes that feel genuinely inclusive and supportive.
This module is perfect for yoga teachers who want to teach with more adaptability, sensitivity, depth, and understanding in a world where students need options, compassion, and connection more than ever.
