Selsey TriathlonHeld within the grounds of Seal Bay coastal resort, Selsey Triathlon is a perfect event to finish your season on a high.
Using Seal Bay's private beach, swim in front of the park, before a quick dash to transition to grab your bike. Heading out on the nearly pan flat course around Selsey, heading towards Chichester, crossing over Pagham Harbour nature reserve. This route offers stunning views of the surrounding country side.
You then finish with an out and back run through Seal Bay park and out into Medmerry Nature reserve. Retracing your steps back to the finish to claim your hard earned medal.
Why not make a weekend of it with Junior races on the Saturday and Senior races on the Sunday? Seal Bay are offering a 10% discount on all weekend stays during the event. So you can roll out of bed, straight onto the start line!
JUNIOR EVENTS (5-16Y) - 3 Oct 2026 - 2:00pm start
Set entirely within the grounds of Seal Bay resort. This is a rare opportunity for juniors to race on a completely traffic free environment, whilst having an open water swim and tarmac bike course like their adult counterparts.
Aged 5-8? Why not try the Scootathlon, a non timed intro to Triathlon, replacing the swim with a scoot Meaning it is a great introduction into the sport.
8 years: 50m swim - 600m bike – 600m run
9y-10y: 100m swim - 1.2k bike – 1.2k run
11-12y: 150m swim - 2.4k bike – 1.8k run
13-14y: 200m swim - 4.8k bike – 2.4k run
15-16y: Can race Senior Super Sprint Tri
SENIOR EVENTS (14-99Y) - 4 Oct 2026 - 8:00am start
With 2 distances available, sprint and super sprint, there is a race for everyone. This could be a course for 'have-a-goers' PB hunters, or those just wanting to get one final race in for the year.
Start: 8:00am - 4th Oct 2026

Sprint – 750m swim | 20km bike | 5km run
Super Sprint – 400m swim | 10km bike | 2.5km run
