Wander into the dark as Saturn rises over the South Downs.
Look through the telescope to see its rings & moons for yourself, then travel far beyond our Solar System as galaxies and nebulae appear live before you.
Two hours to slow down, look up and remember just how vast everything is...
What to expect:
- 7:30pm - Meet at Bignor Hill car park
- A short guided walk (10–15 mins) up to the viewing point
- 8:00pm-10:00pm - Main Sky Session: Observing Saturn, its rings & moons including deep sky objects such as galaxies & nebulae through our brand new telescope.
- 9:30pm - Watch the moon rise in the East
- 10:00pm - Wander back down to the car park
Good to know:
- Wrap up warm - evenings on Bignor Hill get cold
- Limited Spots Available
- The walk/terrain is a little inclined so wear suitable footwear
