📋WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT?
This group experience is a mix between a mini retreat and a workshop.
The aim is to look at the following:
✨Why We Lose Ourselves
- Survival Roles: Adapting to early environments or pleasing others caused you to suppress your true feelings, needs, and opinions.
- Autopilot Living: Over time, meeting external expectations—as a parent, caregiver, or employee—turns into a routine where you forget your own desires.
- Wake-Up Signs: Burnout, restlessness, emotional numbness, and a creeping sense of being a stranger in your own life signals a disconnect.
✨Steps to Return to Yourself
Observe Without Judgment
- Notice the patterns: Notice when you abandon your own boundaries or prioritize others out of fear of losing them.
- Become an observer: Watch your thoughts and emotions without letting them hijack your entire identity.
Reclaim Your Agency
- Rebuild self-trust: Keep small promises to yourself so you begin to see yourself as someone who follows through.
- Redirect mental energy: Engage your mind in focused, creative, or hands-on activities (like art, gaming, or nature) to break out of cycles of overthinking and self-criticism.
- Document what is true: Use journaling or a personal "Who I Am" guide to track what actually brings you joy, what drains you, and what you loved doing as a child.
Integrate and Release
- Stay with the discomfort: Pushing past old people-pleasing habits often brings up guilt; staying present through that discomfort allows real change to stick.
- Shift from outside-in to inside-out: Stop letting other people's reactions define your self-worth, and choose your emotional baseline intentionally.
These are just a few of the many topics we will be delving into.
This 2 hour group experience will offer attendees a great starting point to look at habits and unconscious patterns from childhood that keep one stuck in a repetitive loop, creating the same unwanted results.
As a , I will be running this 2 hours Group Experience for anyone who feels that they have run out of options with self help, therapy, life coaching and generally just trying to use their minds to "fix" themselves. These 2 hours are a deep dive into true transformational change that gets to the core of integrative healing. The group experience will be guided by me, to ensure all attendees get the maximum benefit from this 2 hours out in nature in connecting to themselves in deeper and more meaningful ways . In the very least, the aim is to have attendees walk away by starting to understand why we do what we do, and have a greater understanding of yourself and have a greater sense of autonomy and self ownership. This creates the perfect foundation for permanent change!
👍This event will take place in a gorgeous nature setting in Beddington/Wallington, in the Croydon area in South London.
