🎬 Selected 16 at Fabrica, BrightonSelected 16 brings together bold new artists’ moving image from across the UK, showcasing some of the most exciting early-career artists working today.
Across nine short films spanning documentary, essay film, experimental cinema and analogue filmmaking, the programme explores memory, identity, ecology, migration, community and belonging – from haunted landscapes and ancestral histories to collective rituals and personal acts of remembrance.
Featuring films by Chanthila Phaophanit, Che Applewhaite, Chiemi Shimada, Jack Guariento, Leena Habiballa, Rhiana Bonterre, Rosanna Lee and Viviana Almas.
