Valparaiso University Day of Caring! All volunteers are welcome!
Thanks to the support of NIPSCO Environmental Action Grant, Porter County Chapter of the Izaak Walton invites the public to come to our conservation area and learn to identify native and invasive plant species. After a morning of hands-on learning, you will be ready & know which "weeds" to tackle in your own backyard and wild spaces. Family friendly, great for NHS or other scholastic/community volunteer hours.
