The Delaware OCD Walk is an opportunity to connect with individuals impacted by OCD and related disorders in the state, while raising awareness for what it’s really like to live with OCD.Schedule:
9:00 am: Event check-in, t-shirt pick up, vendors, & activities
10:00 am: Awards, raffle drawings, & Grand Marshal speech
10:45 am: Walk kick-off & ribbon cutting at New Castle Pier
11:45 am: Post-walk refreshments
1:00 pm: Event concludes
Make a walk sign to bring to the event (or create your own walk team) to share the meaning behind why you walk—rather it’s sharing in your own experience with OCD, or to honor the support of a loved one.
Join our OCD walk spirit station and photo backdrop event-day-of as we work to support the OCD and related disorders community in Delaware.
Walk Route:
The walk route begins at New Castle Pier, extending down Battery Park Trail and the Delaware River approximately two miles.
Event signage and mile markers will be present to guide attendees at the designated turnaround point.
Walk route to conclude upon return to Battery Park for post-walk refreshments and connection.
Meeting Place and Parking:
Event check-in, vendor tables, and awards to be held centrally in New Castle Battery Park. Free street parking is available as well as various parking lots lining the park and along the main street.
