About this Event
Settle into the darkness and depths of winter together through cosy practice and story time with Scottish folk tales.
Seasgair, the Gaelic answer to ‘coorie’. Pronounced shhis-kihr, meaning cosy, protected, snug, warm, nested, at ease, sheltered, protected, soft, still, calm.
This practice is all about nourishment, rest, slowing down, softening, loosening grips, giving yourself space and permission to play. Come back to yourself and ground.
Expect resourcing, grounding, slow, curious, playful and indulgent movement before some longer restorative holds.
We will explore slow somatic restorative movement, visitation, meditation and nidra with open curiosity. Prioritising intuition, feeling, being and sensing.
Sharing Scottish folk tales with valuable lessons from sea, sky and land. It's a potent time of year to connect with land, myth and legend as we descend into winter in deep listening.
Join to feel resourced, to tune in, to listen, to feel. To drop more deeply into you.
Beginners welcome, no experience needed.
Mats and all props provided.
Looking forward to welcoming you in the lovely Women on Wheels, Glasgow Southside.
Any questions please get in touch at [email protected] or through my Instagram where I'll share more about each months practice.

Testimonies:
A beautiful, restful practise, with exploration of the body’s web of connective tissue and the emotions we hold within it. There was plenty of time to sit in stillness and ponder these thoughts/emotions, alongside intuitive, embodied movement.
Heather
A really beautifully held class. The perfect way to end a week. Deeply slow, restorative, inwards looking. Gemma is a beautiful facilitator and holder of space, brings a lovely lense/ frameing on Tapas. Thank you :)
Gemma
Gemma creates such a soft and welcoming environment. A glorious way to unwind after a busy week. The decompression we all deeply need.
