About this Event
We encourage writers the bring their own work to share in a safe and welcoming envioroment where they can receive in the moment feedback and written feedback to take with them to encourage their work.
Writers can pick from the actors in attendance to read out their work. We welcome all forms of work including; scripts, film scripts, a section of fiction/non fiction, monologues, spoken word and poetry.
As we want to make sure all writers have a fair amount of time to share their work, we recomment bringing 10 mintues or less to the sharing. There are a max of ten writer tickets available as we do have a time limit! Depending on the popularity of this night we aim to host more in the future so please be encouraged to keep an eye out for future if you miss a writer ticket this time round.
Actors can purchase a general admission ticket and can help the writers by reading their work out loud. Last time we had film makers in the room thinking about casting for their future projects so a good chance for actors to showcase themselves in a more casual way!
There are drinks available at the bar and very lovely staff to cater to all your needs!
We ask if people can arrive before 7:30pm so we can start the sharing on time to make sure we can get through all the writers!
Please note this is a fundraising event for our Edinburgh Fringe show and all proceeds will help us to cover the cost!
