About this Event
Screen-Free Supper: Dinner, Conversation & a Letter to Future You
A dinner with fewer screens and better conversation
Join a small group in the West Village for a hosted dinner designed around conversation, shared tables, and a simple writing activity.
For the evening, guests are invited to silence their phones and keep them out of sight during the hosted portions of the dinner. Participation is voluntary, and your phone stays with you at all times. You may use it whenever needed.
After everyone settles in, the host will introduce a series of light conversation prompts covering everyday interests, memorable experiences, creativity, travel, food, and what guests are looking forward to next.
Dinner is served during the conversation.
Toward the end of the evening, each guest will have time to write a private letter to their future self. You seal it and take it home with you. The organizer does not read, store, copy, or mail your letter.
This event is designed for people arriving solo as well as friends attending together. There is no matchmaking, personality assessment, coaching session, or required sharing.
