Volnay is considered one of the most refined and elegant appellations in Burgundy. While small, the charming eponymous village has a rich history involving the Ducs de Bourgogne and is home to about twenty wine estates. Domaine Marquis d’Angerville is one of them and is considered an icon. In fact, d’Angerville was among the very first estates in Burgundy to bottle its wines under its own name, back in the 1920s, even creating its own proprietary clonal selection of Pinot Noir, “Pinot d’Angerville.”
We hope you will join us for a deep dive into the wonderful wines of d’Angerville. All the wines will be served from magnums and will highlight verticals of the 1er crus Champans, Taillepieds, and Caillerets, as well as the estate’s crown jewel and monopole vineyard, Clos des Ducs.
