Need a good scream? Join Liv Leemon for a night of screaming self portrait paintings where you will learn the elements of creating an expressive self portrait through mixed media and how to capture your feelings on paper. Liv Leemon is a visual and musical artist, often expressing her feelings through paint and song. Over the years she’s created a painting series she calls, “The Scream Series”. This series pictures over 10 diverse artworks of her screaming. This series has been an outlet for releasing all kinds of emotions and has been a coping mechanism through some of her hardest moments. For this class, she encourages you to bring in some real emotions and feelings. While she’s not an art therapist and this practice isn’t certified therapy, it can have therapeutic and cathartic effects!All Materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring in any other mixed media materials you would like to incorporate.
