The Peer-Reviewed Punchline is a bold, unique performance where science meets comedy…over a couple of drinks. Designed to challenge the “stiff” image of academia, this event transforms real research into an engaging, humorous show that is as enlightening as it is entertaining.Under the direction of theatre-maker Malcolm Galea, three Maltese researchers - James Ciarlo`, Marie Claire Gatt and Sarah Schembri - will step out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight to present to you the behind-the-scenes of active research; Why (oh, why?!) do we want to ask questions? What is it like to collect data on a remote research station for weeks? How do we face climate conspiracies and poor policies?
Join us at Offbeat Music Bar to discover the flesh and (funny) bones of scientific research and the regular humans who do it!
