Join NWOP artist Jade Lees-Pavey in this playful hands-on workshop, where kids will explore how everyday recycled materials like boxes, cardboard, packaging and paper can be transformed into imaginative artworks. Inspired by the exhibition and the idea of seeing value in the things around us, participants will look closely, ask questions, experiment with shape, pattern, layering, stacking and construction, then create their own relief artwork, sculpture or collage to take home. This workshop encourages creative thinking, problem-solving and hands-on making while showing that art materials can be found in surprising places.
All materials provided.
Parent/guardian required to be onsite for the duration of the workshop.
Spaces are limited to 12 children, bookings required.
