SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:
SBDC Smart Start: Hands‑On Edition is an interactive, in‑person seminar designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who are ready to turn a business idea into action! If you’re thinking about starting a business—or are in the very early stages—this two‑hour session will walk you through the essential steps for a smart and informed start.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of starting a business, including key planning considerations, available resources, and common pitfalls to avoid. Unlike the webinar format, this hands‑on edition allows for deeper discussion and real‑time questions.
The seminar also prepares you for a one‑to‑one business advisement session with the UTRGV SBDC, setting the foundation for personalized, ongoing support. Come ready to engage, ask questions, and leave with greater clarity and confidence in your next steps toward business ownership.
Presented by the UTRGV SBDC.
