14-member sax ensemble plays rock, jazz, pop, film scores, video game tracks at Melrose PorchfestAbout this Event
Dear Saxyfans!
The Saxyderms, New England’s favorite large saxophone ensemble, returns to Melrose Porchfest on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Our set is 12:00-1:45pm. Stage is located on the driveway at 76 Vinton Street – big yellow house on the corner across from Melrose Cedar Park station.
As always, we’ll play an eclectic mix of jazz, rock, pop, video game scores, and whatever else sounds good on over a dozen saxophones. Our stage will also feature The Jazzabelles (2:00), Second Rain (3:45), and The Polytonals (4:15).
After the performance, walk down to Melrose’s Main Street to sample some of its best restaurants like Rising Eagle, Turner’s, Giacomo’s, or Big Fin Poke.
