A Saxon új albummal tér vissza Magyarországra.Tavasszal felzúgnak az erősítők, és a hangerővel együtt az elvárások is a magasba szöknek: a Saxon a Gods of Thunder Tour keretében ismét Budapestre érkezik, március 12-én, a Barba Negrába. A Biff Byford vezette brit veteránok súlyos riffekkel, villámgyors gitárszólókkal és mindenkit közös éneklésre késztető refrénekkel, valamint azzal a megalkuvást nem tűrő energiával érkeznek, amely immáron közel fél évszázada úton tartja őket.
A brit heavy metal legendás formációja, a Saxon visszatér a Gods of Thunder című vadonatúj stúdióalbumával, amely olyan témákat jár körül, mint a történelem, a fantasy, a horror, az ősi mitológia, a pogány rítusok és a rock ’n’ roll örök szellemisége. Az album 2027. január 22-én jelenik meg a Silver Lining Music gondozásában.
A megjelenés alkalmából a New Wave of British Heavy Metal úttörői 2027-ben útra kelnek a Gods of Thunder – World Tour keretében. A zenekar védjegyévé vált, energikus előadásmódjával mutatja be új dalait, a programban pedig az új lemez szerzeményei mellett a klasszikusok és a rajongói kedvencek is helyet kapnak, amelyek a Saxont a heavy metal egyik legerősebb koncertzenekarává tették.

A legendás alapító és frontember, Biff Byford produceri munkájával, valamint Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Exodus, Accept, illetve a Priest gitárosa) keverésével készült Gods of Thunder a zenekart pályája csúcsán örökíti meg. Az erőteljes előadásmód élénk, aprólékosan kidolgozott történetmeséléssel párosul. A dübörgő basszus és dobok, a perzselő gitárok, valamint Biff Byford összetéveszthetetlen hangja a hamisítatlan brit heavy metal elementáris hangzását hozzák létre, magukban hordozva a múlt, a jelen és a jövő szellemét.

Saxon Return to Hungary with their new album.
This spring, the amplifiers will roar once again as Saxon return to Budapest on March 12, bringing the Gods of Thunder Tour to Barba Negra. Led by Biff Byford, the British heavy metal veterans arrive armed with crushing riffs, lightning-fast guitar solos, sing-along choruses and the uncompromising energy that has kept them on the road for nearly five decades.
British heavy metal legends Saxon return with Gods of Thunder, a brand-new studio album exploring themes of history, fantasy, horror, ancient mythology, pagan rituals and the enduring spirit of rock ’n’ roll. The album will be released on January 22, 2027 via Silver Lining Music.
To celebrate the release, the pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal will embark on the Gods of Thunder – World Tour in 2027. The band will bring their trademark high-energy performances to the stage, combining songs from the new record with the classics and fan favourites that have established Saxon as one of heavy metal’s most formidable live acts.
