🎃 Your kid says there’s nothing to do in Maricopa. We’re working on that. 🎮💙Saturday Side Quests is back for October—and this one is getting a Halloween upgrade!
As kids get older, it can be surprisingly hard to find places where they can simply go, hang out, have fun, and connect with other kids their age.
That’s why Be Awesome and A+ Charter created Saturday Side Quests—a FREE monthly hangout for local youth in grades 3–12.
And this month, we’ve added even more to do!
Halloween Face Paint Bar
New games & equipment
Fun crafts and activities
Gaming & tabletop games
Pizza by the slice
FREE snack & drink upon arrival
Space to hang out, relax & connect
Saturday, October 17
11:00 AM–4:00 PM
A+ Charter School
41735 N. Alan Stephens Pkwy.
Maricopa, AZ 85138
FREE | Grades 3–12 | Drop in anytime!
Come for an hour or hang out for the afternoon. Bring a whole friend group, bring one buddy, or come ready to meet someone new.
There’s no pressure to be the most outgoing kid in the room. Whether your kid wants to jump into a game, make something, grab some pizza, or just hang out for a while, there’s a place for them here.
Every registered participant receives a FREE snack and drink upon arrival. Additional snacks and drinks will be available for $0.50–$5, plus pizza by the slice.
Purchases help support future youth recreation opportunities—so that extra soda is basically philanthropy.
Parents, our goal is simple: give Maricopa kids another place to go, something fun to do, and opportunities to connect.
Because sometimes kids don’t need another structured activity.
They just need a good place to belong.
